5 am & Fall Stuff

Came way too early this morning so I decided to go back to bed and forget that the gym was calling me. Maybe I will go tonight or kick start AUGUST off right by hitting up the gym!

AUGUST???? Seriously is it that month already?

Time is flying by and I really cant believe it, When I was working at Charming Charlie the other night they had the crochet ear warmers and long sleeve clothes. Is it really becoming fall again??

Scentsy

I had my Scentsy party this weekend and it was so much fun! Lacey the consultant was great and it doesnt hurt that she and I have been friends since high school. The food was great and everyone seemed to have a great time!

Scentsy has some amazing new stuff and next month they have an Owl Warmer! Im totally getting that one!

What day is it??

I have been working like crazy, is it really monday night already?? Time is just flying! It is going to be August soon! OMG

I am waking up at 4:45 to go to the gym.. I have decided I have NO willpower at night and would rather spend my time with my family so... I will be waking up before the world does to go to the gym!

And I caved and got a personal trainer once a month... Hope he is worth our money!

I have so much going on this week.... deadlines for work and then my Scentsy Party on Sunday!! So excited... But I need to get my butt in gear and figure out the food...

Stubborn

So today I went to a meeting for work, got a lot done then went to Barns and Noble to look for the last book of the 50 shades of grey series and the didn't have it. I nearly fell on the floor crying.

After that huge letdown I went over to Golds Gym looking into a membership.. the guy gave me a tour through the facility and then asked me my goals yada yada yada... So I told him and he led me over to the scale... a huge burst of fear ran through my veins ... then I remembered I am an adult and I don't do things I don't want to. So I told the nice gentleman you must me out of your freaking mind if you think I'm getting on that scale buddy. He laughed and said really? my response was ya not doing it not today.. I just ate a cheeseburger right before ... That sounds really horrible doesn't it.

So he had the audacity to say I know your type your stubborn and hard to deal with. Politely smiling back at him and I said yes, yes I am.

He told me he was up for a challenge and wanted to do personal training with me but for $100 bucks a month I don't think so.

It was hilarious though, I always know that I can stand up for myself and not be in an uncomfortable position.

I am stubborn and maybe that's not a good thing but its who I am.

Its my little brothers birthday today so I am off to celebrate with my family!



Whaddup Jersey

Tonight we went to Jersey Mike's for dinner. They have amazing subs and Wyatt got the biggest one.

I am not amazed that he finished it.

This place is seriously amazing. So much better then Subway...

Ok enough about the amazing sandwich...



6 in the mornin

Khloe normally sleeps till around 8, lately it has been 6.

I am not used to this and I am not a morning person.

End of story.

I have nothing fun or exciting to talk about but I have been thinking about Khloe's second birthday. It is in February but might as well get an early start right??

Girls run the world....

Some days I do not know how I do everything... Ya my husband has a job but I do too. I feel constantly that I am the only one responsible for the laundry, dinner, grocery shopping, bills being paid, organizing our home, trying to keep him happy, and then trying to balance everything while I have a job too and taking care of Khloe.

Today has been crazy and I am running off 4 hours of sleep.. Lord knows why I couldnt sleep last night but my mind is running and it never stops. I wish I could just shut everything off for a while and just focus on myself. My anxiety has been through the roof lately and Im not sure how to control it.

So the real puropse of this little post is that us girls have a lot on our plates. Why are the expectations so high for us to maintain this perfect balance.
 
 
So today for the rest of the day I am going to do things to make me happy and maybe go get a mani & pedi .
 
Do something for yourself today you deserve it! Since we do run the world... even if it is just our little world.


Surprise Trip

My husband has been taunting me for about a month now about this trip that would "blow my mind" amongst other things.

Saturday morning my Grandma came over to watch Khloe I did not know when I was going to be back and that nearly gave me a panic attack. He told me we would be back that night and everything was taken care of. We got in the truck and headed over to Tim and Jenna's house got in their car and we were off. Jenna and I had no clue where we were going until we hit this point in the freeway where it was nothing but desert...

There is only one road that leads to VEGAS and we were on it... technically there is not just one road but it was the only road I have ever been on to Vegas.

It seemed like we got there in record time!

The boys packed all of our stuff and Wyatt did a really good job at getting most everything I would have packed myself. Three years of marriage has taught him a thing or two.

It was such an amazing trip and we had so much fun, such a nice get away for a couple days!

The end of the trip was not too fun.. 6 hour drive home with a vomiting on my shoe husband ( the roller coaster threw his stomach for a loop)

The trip was a blast and it was our first couple's trip! SO fun and I would love to do it again without Wyatt getting sick of course!

Nautical

Dreary Day

Today's weather is so weird, It is getting dark and looking like rain but its over 100 degrees out!

What the heck!!!!

Khloe and I hung out with my mom today, we went to Target and to the machine shop to see my step dad. He has not seen Khloe for two weeks so he was super excited to see her.

Khloe has a weird thing going on, her throat sounds hoarse but she is acting fine... I think I will take her to the doctor this week if it doesn't get better.

Then as soon as we left the shop I got a phone call from my boss at the winery and she gave me more projects. This is amazing for me, I am having so much fun putting things together and talking to potential brides. BEST of all I get to do this all at home with my little one right here!

I am one lucky girl!

I'm still so happy I got this opportunity with the winery!!!

So Its been a dreary day but a good one!

Happy wednesday... now off to dinner with my friend!



Decisions Decisions....

I have never been put in this situation before... I have two jobs and I'm a mom ( which is my number 1 priority.) My retail job sucks.. I am getting like 4 hours a week. The discount is good though but they need me to be available on the weekends at least one day. I got this job at the winery and I worked from home yesterday and made more money in a day then I would in my 4 hours a week at my retail job. Honestly this is an awesome problem to have... I am not complaining just wondering if I should keep both for a while or just quit my retail job.I am so blessed to have gotten this wedding coordinator job at the winery... This is the exact break that I wanted when we moved back.

Again GOD IS GOOD



Summer Swap!

My secret blogger was... well I'm really not sure which blog hers was! But she got me a couple of really adorable things!

Revlon color burst lip butter in Sweet Tart... This stuff is amazing and its a nice shade of  pink...

Essie nail polish in Cascade Cool... This color is the perfect color to go with my tan for summer it is so pretty and light... not too bright.

I also got this cute little bag! It is my favorite color actually all the stuff I got was my favorite color!

I was lucky enough to get Laura from Fancy This blog. She seems so sweet and her son is beyond adorable! She has some great recipe's like a honey vanilla pound cake... yuuuuuum who could resist that! It doesn't hurt that her taste in home decor is amazing! I have had so much fun learning more about her and her blog. I may have gone through all her posts feeling a bit like a stalker but she has one amazing blog and I encourage all of you to go visit her here!

The Cottage

Thats the name of our new entertainment center thats coming!!!!

So I was a little torn because all of our furniture is dark wood... Like super dark and I wanted this entertainment center so bad. It is black...

So Wyatt and I talked about it and figure it will be our stand out piece in our apartment... which is slowly getting smaller because we are buying furniture that should go in a 3000 square foot house...

It is so gorgeous and has room for all of Wyatts DVD's and has sliders on it so we can store stuff down below.. Maybe we will start playing WII again..

Im so excited because this is the final piece of furniture to our apartment!!

First day

Today was my first day at my new job! It was so fun and the people are great! I couldn't ask for anything better! Tomorrow I am going in and starting to do the pricing for weddings. They haven't done many weddings lately and I was so surprised! This place is gorgeous!!!! There should be weddings there every weekend. I am ready to change that... I honestly feel that fire in me again that I have been missing and I am so excited! Really pumped up about all the possibilities and I can not wait to see what God has in store for my life!



Passion and Motivation

Lately I have been lacking motivation and passion. It makes it worse when you have a 17 month old that looks up to you and you’re the most influential person in her life.

Some days I don’t want to get out of bed and I just want to sleep, I have been feeling a little lost lately.

I don’t know what is going on with me but I have been actively trying to snap out of it!

I came across this on Pinterest last night and it actually gave me more motivation to be the best mom I can be and not slack just because I’m having a bad day.. That shouldn’t affect Khloe. I want her to have the best childhood possible so that’s why this morning I woke up I decided to make a positive change.

This in itself made me realize I should press on no matter what and not let anything get me down because God is with me. Through Him I am strong and that’s where I will pull my strength from when I am down.

This morning we colored and went to the park.

Getting out with her made me feel better and I have always battled a little bit of depression but there is nothing in my life I should be depressed about and I know through God all things are possible, even getting through a little depressed spell.



Shoe Addicts Anonymous...

I have read many of Beth Harbisons books but I am really loving Shoe Addicts Anonymous.

This book is light and funny, just what you need sometimes.

So I highly recommend this to any one who wants to read something fun.

The workouts I want to try in July are...

1. Zumba

2.Yoga

3. Spin Class ... This seems kinda crazy but I think it would be a good challenge..

4. Pilates at an actual studio...

So since I have been eating way too much bad food I will be challenging myself to these workouts.

Why am I awake right now... oh thats right It was my dumb idea to get starbucks at 9pm and now I can not go to sleep! My Initial plan was to get decaf then I forgot.. So here I am awake at almost 1am...

 Now I am going to change my address with my bank online and hopefully find some cool stuff on Pinterest...

Seriously why does changing your address take so long and why do I have so many people I have to change it with... totally annoying..

Also Emily did the right thing on the bachlorette by getting rid of Chris.. He was kinda a loose cannon. He seemed like a guy that would kill someone and not feel sorry about it..

Sorry Chris you may be a different person in real life but on reality tv your a creeper..

Quick Review

         This is kind of a blurry picture but this Mangos and Cream body lotion is AMAZING!

I took a little trip to Sephora to celebrate my new job and $100 dollars later I came out with this and a couple more things.

This lotion is so creamy and makes your skin feel baby soft! I was a little skeptical because I don’t normally spend $24 dollars on lotion but this was well worth it and I am so happy I picked this up!

Doesn't hurt that it smells good too!
