Finally Home

So we made it! Finally, it was a long journey especially with a baby! But we are getting all settled in and getting all of our things organized. Khloe is really enjoying it out here already! So many things to do especially with the pigs, goats, dogs, and cats. Wyatt started his job yesterday and i think its going to work out for him. He has a shoot today in Chula Vista so Khloe and I are staying home and finishing putting stuff away.. As much as we can. This is a temporary home for us so most of our stuff is still in boxes. Things are going great! My official job now is house manager! I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Stairs…

How I hate you! I honestly thing this apartment has the steepest stairs ever known to man! Thank God we are moving tomorrow! It feels like just yesterday Wyatt and I made the decision to move back and now it is finally here!! Very excited/nervous/wanting it to be over. I cannot wait to do Thanksgiving with my mom on Saturday!! so excited. I wish this stupid muscle I pulled in my leg would let up though…

Thanksgiving…

So I have already said the things that I am thankful for, I have my hubby here to tell you what he is thankful for…

1.I am thankful for my beautiful family. My amazing wife who gave me the most amazing gift of all time, KHLOE!

2. That we have a healthy and happy baby girl.

3. We have a roof over our heads.

4. Food on our plates.

5. A very large family who is all ways willing to help us when we hit a rough patch in our life.

6. I have the most amazing friends in the world.

7. Our family’s health is great.

8. The memories of past thanksgiving’s are still fresh in my mind. And knowing there is more to come.

9. We have reliable transportation.

10. A JOB!

11. The giggle that comes out of my little girl when I tickle her, and when her eyes meet mine I know that nothing else in the world matters.

12.The giggle I get out of my wife when I tickle her too!

13. That my beautiful wife still is head over heels in love with me…mustache and all….( and me back at her… she doesn't have a mustache thou .)

And I am definatly having one, one of those days where its a huge FAIL. Everything you do is wrong. Yup these days suck but tomorrow is another day and I hope that it gets better....

Thanksgiving Week!

It is almost turkey day and there are so many things to be thankful for, here are some of the things I am thankful for:

 

1. My husband Wyatt, I could not live without him, he makes my life so much better.

2. My daughter Khloe, She is the light of my life and my new reason for living.

3. My family, I have such an amazing supportive family that is there for me whenever I need them.

4. Our families health

5. God for giving me all the things I have in my life and all the things I don’t because all things are perfect through Christ and Im thankful for being raised as a Christian and knowing God in a way most people don’t.

6. a roof over our head and food on the table.

7. LOVE, the richest person in the world may have money but if he doesn’t have love he is poor. Love is everything, how can you enjoy life without love.

8. Relocating back to California this week, I am very thankful to be able to start this next chapter and move on with our lives.

 

I hope everyone has a fantastic week and Thanksgiving, I will be packing with Wyatt and Khloe.

Hello Sunday

This weekend has flown by once again! I got my hair done yesterday, I don’t really like it, I got low lights in it and underneath is dyed all blonde, ( It was almost black so it has a tinge of pinky orange to it.  Blah!) So Ive decided that im going to get the lowlights put in underneath in a couple weeks im going to let my hair  breath. I hate it when you go and get your hair done and it doesn’t come out the way you expect or want it to… On to the rest of our weekend, We went to dinner with a couple of people from Wyatts work last night and It was a lot of fun! I forget how fun it is to go out. Since having Khloe we havent had much time for that. Khloe came with us and she was a perfect angel… as she always is! Then today we went to good old Dandy Donuts for breakfast it was the last time that were going to be doing that out here.! Time to look for a new place in Temecula for Sunday donut day. I have eaten WAY too much crap today and so tomorrow I am going to make a promise to myself…

1. No more soda challenge for a month!

2. No more junk food, or fast food.

3. Start RUNNING and RUNNING and RUNNING

 

Those are my new goals for my fitness, I have a long way to go but I am committed to getting healthy, My goal is to look like this….

 

And I  will try and remember this when im running.

Halloween.. Its a little late

Onward and Upward...

We have exactly  a week till we move back! Khloe has been walking all over, she started walking on 11-11-11 and has not stopped since. There are so many things going on this week im feeling a little overwhelmed. But i know its all for the best!

 In Temecula there is the most amazing store called Vintage Begonia, they have a blog too so i would recommend you check them out! http://vintagebegonia.blogspot.com/ I am so excited to be able to visit them anytime i want!

Christmas is coming so soon! This is my favorite time of year, I love the smell of winter in the air, starbucks peppermint mocha's and lots of family time. My mom is having her annual Christmas party on December 10th and we are going to have a hot coco bar and smores bar along with a hayride and fire pit. It should be alot of fun.

On December 4th were doing our Christmas pictures which im really excited about because its our first christmas with our daughter Khloe! I will be sure to post the pictures... Alot of exciting things to come! Also I need to do my 12 things in 2012. The top 12 things I want to do next year... hmmm Lots to do!

Its Sunday Funday!

I love Sunday for a number of reasons, one of them is that we always get donuts in the morning, its sort of a Roose family tradition. SO FUN. So as were leaving Dandy Donut we decide to go to Havasu for the last time for a while. We went to the shopping strip and went to JC Penny’s which has my favorite store ever in it…. SEPHORA!!  So we went and took some pictures in front of the London Bridge ….

AND…. I worked on this little project for Christmas gifts as well, its been a super productive weekend.

I used Champagne bottles and wine bottles, spray painted them white, used spray craft glue and rolled them in epsom salt.

I got this idea off of  Pinterest. This project is a perfect cute gift idea, im going to get little Christmas ornaments and tie them on with some cute ribbon and a tag.

BEWARE: they can get kinda messy and the salt falls off easily but they are very pretty!

Makeup review

I got my box of goodies from Sephora, Here is a picture of what I got. I tried a couple new things and for the most part I'm impressed.

 

So starting off:

Bare Minerals: Face makeup in medium, I'm a huge fan of this line. very natural and I love the brushes so this is nothing new for me.

Trio Benefit face primers: I love them all and Sephora has this set of 3 for only $10.00 their “sample packs” but you can easily use them for a month, I love the porefessional one, makes your pores smaller. That gal is a brightening  primer and I love to pair it with my Bare minerals foundation. Works like a charm! Stay don’t stray is for your eye makeup and it really does keep it on for a whole day.

They’re Real: I usually use Bad Gal Lash by Benefit and decided to try this new one, Im getting used to it, it does make your eyes pop. But I think next time I will be sticking to what I know ( Bad Gal Lash) I just love that stuff.

Dallas bronze-blush: IN LOVE does not even do justice for how I feel for this. I have very fair skin and it gives me a peachy glow and does not make me look like im too over bronzified…I just made that word up…

 

Sephora lip gloss: in pin up pink, I got this as a freebie from my sephora points, it’s a vibrant pink and it looks great with a nude eye and bronzy cheeks. I think im going to buy the full size.

Perfect brow: In caramel, it keeps your brows in place no stray hairs… This also came as a sample and I would totally buy the full size.

 

Well that’s all I got! try the lip gloss and the blush though their amazing!

11-11-11

Yesterday was the last wedding I will be doing for Laughlin River Tours. I came out here almost three years ago, my previous job was at Chase, and I got a job doing weddings and working in the office here. I cannot tell you how lucky I am to have met the people I work with! I have learned so much, from bridezillas to typewriters. And that the POST 60 is NOT a post office! Looking back on my time here Ive realized a couple things,

1. I can do anything with my husband by my side
2. I have a great family back home that i miss and love to pieces.
3. I can do anything and navigate through any situation, I have a good head on my shoulders.
4. as Shirley my boss says, There is always tomorrow. and "fuck a duck" that's another one lol
5. I really found myself out here, I know who I am and what I stand for and that's an amazing feeling.
6. If you don't know something smile and laugh.. ( this helps when you are confronted by an angry bride)
7. I can pin a boutioneer with OUT making a guy bleed.
8. I am really going to miss the crew but even more I'm going to miss Shirley, shes been like a mother to me, she has seen me laugh, cry, be at my worst and she still was right there with me giving me amazing advice. I couldn't have lived here and made it without her...

I have had my funniest moments out here, getting attacked by a pigeon in a tanning salon, not being able to cut paper even, and falling in a casino as i was telling Shirley that i have to be super careful in these shoes because I always fall.

We have about to weeks left of being in Laughlin, Im exctied to be home but I know I will miss it here, So here goes to another chapter in my life... Its going to be another rollercoaster but hey isnt that what life is about?

This is the Celebration, the boat I worked on... They have dinner cruises, sightseeing and wedding cruises... so GO!

November fun

I am so excited that the winter is finally upon us!! I have found so many cute things to do for Christmas gifts! I cant believe its that time again! I absolutely LOVE this time of year! We have many new things happening with us. We are moving from Laughlin NV in about 19 days back home to California. I am beyond happy to be making this move, its sort of scary, I do not have a job but my husband does and i know that God will bless us as he already has in the past. We have to put our complete faith in Him and i know we will be fine. It will give me much more time with Khloe which is now almost 9 months old! Our home is now insane with packing and boxes its starting to get real that were moving back. Anyways here are a couple of things i have found that im in love with:
