Life Change

I have been super stressed lately...

I'm making a promise to myself because frankly life is too short and I feel like I need to enjoy all the blessings God has given us.

So for the month of June under every post I am going to say something I take for granted and why I am thankful for it.. It may be something silly and small or it may be something big.

I am going to change this.. how you ask well here you go!

1. Be more grateful and post about what I am thankful for so I can see just how much I am truly blessed

2.Eat healthier and drink a ton of water... after this month I want my body to feel better along with my mind (no more soda or fast food)

3. Read the Bible daily... I have not been doing this nearly enough

4. Work on my patience with Wyatt and with Khloe

5. Enjoy the small things... for example playing blocks with Khloe and being in the moment.

6. Exercising more

7. Spend time with Wyatt without distractions to talk about our day

8. Take 15-20 minutes a day to do what I enjoy

I have been focusing on moving so much and getting all our DMV stuff done in California I have lost sight in the fun in life and stress has just been pounding me.

I mean breaking out in hives every day because my mind wont shut off and I have so much going on is not HEALTHY...

The month of June I am going to work on all these things and focus on my well being.



Bench

So tonight my mom took me over to this house she is watching for some friends and they are selling everything... its all vintage furniture but I found something that I decided to grab...

I havent taken a picture of it yet but this is kinda what it looks like and hopefully it looks good after we finish it... I am going to stain it a dark color.

I am going to put it in our entry way, This one is a little different but when I get finished with it I will post before and after pictures....

Im pretty excited about this piece of furniture!

Sea World

On Sunday we went to Sea World.. It was so fun and we decided to get season passes so now we can go whenever we want!

Tired!!

I have been overly tired lately, I do not know what is going on...

My face is beaking out and all I want to do is sleep!!

I think we have bee so busy lately that I just need a break.. tomorrow is busy too, I work and Khloe has a dentist appointment.. I feel like I just never get a break....

Oh and we move in two weeks and I have to register our cars on Wednsday in California....

Everything is falling on my shoulders and Im not sure how much more I can take....

I think I have hit my breaking point...

Cleaning...

So we are moving in a couple weeks and my ocd is really kicking in.

I honestly have to have things in decorated boxes and labeled...

Im insane for organizing... It is seriously a problem...

I am going to try and relax during this move and be normal about it and not get all worked up like I usually do.. I am a crazy person.. seriously!

And for some reason I always want to get rid of EVERYTHING.. like just start over...

Poor Wyatt.. 

Girls Day

Today Khloe and I went shopping in Palm Springs... on El Paseo ..

This is where all the fancy shops are.. and I can not get enough of it!

We went to the Juicy Couture store and I was only looking for a wallet but they had an amazing sale so I bought a purse to match!

My new wallet is amazing!

This is my new bag! Its the perfect everyday bag with glittery bows.. I couldn't resist!

And This is where we were today... pretty glamorous...

Khloe and I ate at California Pizza Kitchen..

This was the first time I have taken her out to a restaurant ( where people wait on you) .. usually Wyatt is with us or a friend but today it was just her and I...

It was amazing to have a day with my little girl and I'm going to make it a point to do these days more often... Just me and her bonding it was great!

She is such a bundle of joy and happiness... when we were sitting at lunch and probably 10 people came up and said hi to us and asked me "Where did she get that red hair from!" and I replied my husband and smiled... It was just an amazing day

Revenge is sweet

Ok so I watch the show Revenge religiously...

I am obsessed! And when someone told me that it was cancelled I flipped out, knocking things over, lashing out at loved ones, punching walls, and headbutting my husband..

Ok so that might have been a little dramatic... I didn't do any of those things but I did them all in my head.

Then I googled it and It is coming back!

This show just got crazier and I can not wait for season 2 in the fall!

And this face is not too hard to look at for an hour...

( don't tell my husband)



I was so pumped up ( I felt like a gorilla juice head.. Jersey Shore reference)  I ran into my moms house and said did you see it OMG!!!

My mom had the same reaction and were screaming and acting like we were in high school.... Lame I know.

If you dont watch this show you should! Like this minute!!!!!

Sick Days...

Wyatt and I are both sick... He has been sick for a week now!

Talk about bummer!

Anyway Im so tired I cant think of anything to write about so I leave you with this hilarious picture!



Twenty Five is my year!

Today was so fun and relaxing.. got pampered and spent all day with my BFF

She got my these adorable Juicy Couture sunglasses!

Then we went to dinner with my Grandma, Dad & his wife, brother and Wyatt.

Wyatt left with Khloe early, He was sick and she was being crazy!

It was a great day and Im exhausted so nighty night!

Birthday Weekend festivities...

So the first two pictures are from last weekend and it was on Mothers day.. ( Excuse my messed up hair and hardly any makeup on) But I had to put this picture in here because Khloe totally photo bombed us and the look on her face is creepy yet pretty hysterical!

And this face not so creepy just super cute!

So we went to Laguna Beach for my birthday this weekend, It was so fun.

When we got there we went to dinner with some friends and then walked around for a bit.

The weather was gorgeous and I could not stop saying how badly I want to live there.

This was our first trip without Khloe overnight since she has been born...

I must say, we missed her but It was great to spend some quality time with Wyatt.

We had fun, we drank and the hotel was beautiful!

One of the best birthdays ever!

Im so lucky to have a husband that would plan all this for me! I am so lucky and thankful for him!

Birthday weekend!

MMK so I like to think I have two birthday weekends.. the one before my birthday and the one after...

Pretty logical right?? I think so!

So this weekend Wyatt is taking me somewhere and we are leaving Khloe with my mom and we are staying over night.

I am so excited about this... but the minute I leave I know I will have seperation anxiety.

This is a big thing for us!

3 years...

Three years ago today I married an amazing man... I'm a pretty lucky girl!

Over the last three years we have moved to a different state and then moved back to California, had a baby and changed careers...

I can not believe that in just a few short years all of this has happened...

I feel like our married life has flown by, even though some days I feel like we've been married for thirty years...

We have been through so much together and how  I know we will be together forever is that we have stuck by each other through EVERYTHING...

Laughs, tears, anger, sadness happiness, joy, pure love, and pure annoyance.

 One thing I know about me and my husband is that we were made for each other, were so different in so many ways but we compliment each other...

I am so lucky to have found him and I know he is pretty lucky too!



Good Vibes..

So we are officially moving out in a month!

So excited,we signed our lease today and we got an apartment with two patio's and a huge spacious layout!

This will be our home for the next two years while we prepare to buy a home.

I am so excited to start this new chapter in our lives and moving forward.

I feel like I havent been myself and I think a part of it has been the stress of our living situation.

I can not wait to have a home again!

Feeling positive but this apartment is 3 times the amount of rent we paid in Laughlin... big difference!

And then we will live in a house like this!



Oh Monday

1. Flowers I got for mothers day.. My favorite! They smell so yummy!

2. Viva La Juicy perfume I got from Wyatt...

4. San Diego- we went there to go to Sea Port Village and Khloe had a blast!

We had a lot of fun and it was a sucessful second mothers day for me!

Now its time for a doctor visit for Khloe's check up and then off to work... register training tonight, wooohoo!



Drum roll please....

We have a guest post tonight.. that's right and the special guest is none other than my husband Wyatt...

I gave him the very special assignment of writing about mothers day and how it is different now with a wife and baby...

So here goes nothing... Take the floor babe!

Mothers day has changed quite a bit in the last two years for me, I have to plan a ton of stuff.

I tried to wake up early today to make breakfast, but Khloe woke me up before my alarm(6:45). It was definitely a struggle tyring to make breakfast and take care of a toddler. The amount of respect I have for Emma grows everyday and the appreciation doubles when I see how she helps our family. I learn more and more about how much she has to do EVERYDAY.

She makes me a better person and that makes me want to treat her as best as I can all day everyday.

I may not(never) pass all the tests or not say something stupid but I let her know everyday how much I love her and how beautiful she is!

OOOH what a day

Today was my first day at Charming Charlie, I was a little nervous but I had great time!

They put me out on the floor and I got to talk to people and sell stuff!

Helping girls pick out jewelry for a wedding or prom is actually pretty rewarding.

Knowing that you helped them with the finishing touches on an outfit for a special event is pretty fun!

I'm really loving it ...

And today confirmed that I made the right decision with Macy's

I love days that make you feel like your where your supposed to be.

Its mothers day tomorrow!!! yay!

Mothers Day

My pride and joy in life is being the mother of a beautiful little red headed girl.

She makes life worth living every moment of the day. She makes me try and be the best me every day.

I always knew I wanted to be a mother and now that I am I respect moms and my mom so much more.

Being a mom is hard work and to raise your child into a smart, loving, empathetic, strong individual is hard work but so worth it in the end...

Those are my hopes for Khloe to be all those things and I know she will be.

I mean how could you not smile with this in the back seat...

She is my little buddy and I'm so lucky and blessed to have her as my daughter.

So to all you mama's out there Happy Mothers Day!

Why so serious.....

People get all worked up over things, for example a minimum wage job.

I think it should just be fun and easy, Its not like your the president. ( Thank God)

Seriously though, I have had enough experience at a bank and doing wedding coordinating to know whatever you mess up can be fixed. (except when it cant)

I know they have policy's and procedures... but this is a lot of s*&%t you have to remember...

all I know is that it is not worth the money that I am getting paid to worry about sales goals and credit card applications.. pshhhh

Customer service, I'm all about that... Kissing someones ass that is rude to me, not so much.

If you are rude and obnoxious I'm going to tell you end of story...

In conclusion, I may not last long at my current job..

My annoyance level is peaking already and I haven't even been on the sales floor....

Walks and Wagons

Yesterday we went on a walk in Khloe's wagon, She got it for her birthday but we didn't use it until a couple days ago!

So easy to fold up, perfect for the park...

 She got to have snacks in the wagon and she was pretty happy about it!

Good Morning Monday

I woke up this morning and decided to do pilates, I did it last night before we went to bed and I forgot how amazing you feel after just 20 minutes of doing it.

My body just feel stronger and longer.. weird but do it once and you will know what I mean.

I did pilates all through high school, I was in great shape! But I will never be stick thin, I have a butt and boobs and that's just how it is. Instead of hating my body I am trying to embrace it and treat myself good.

I have always used Mari Winsor pilates and I think she is GREAT!

I have set my goal of doing pilates at least once a day and then doing the wii fit at least 20 minutes a day.

My mom got me hooked on the Wii, she has been doing it. Though it might not be the best fat burning workout, it is fun and that counts for something.

It weighs you, does BMI calculations, sets goals and records the exercises.

This is really helpful and you see your progress.

I was even 5 pounds lighter then when i weighed myself on my digital scale this morning... I might like the Wii scale better!

I know this is so 2009 or whenever it came out, but I am just now doing it and It is pretty fun!



Joy

Joy is....

Today her and I went to great grandmas house and tore everything up..

I swear this kid is like a tornado!

Then we came home and cleaned, so fun...

But I started doing the Wii fit last night and its so fun! My mom and I were competing, it was pretty funny...

That damn skii one was pissing me off, I wanted to do it over and over until Wyatt came in and got me.

It was 12:45 in the morning...

This weekend was so fun and busy..

Oh and I will never eat another grilled cheese without using garlic butter, We got this stuff at Sams Club and were addicted! So yummy!

I can not wait to have my own kitchen again!!!!!!

Folding Laundry and other things...

We are supposed to be folding laundry right now... but instead I am blogging and lounging in my new shirt from Guess... I splurged, splurged big time tonight...

So I get a discount at Macy's and I found this amazing shirt... For work, because apparently pretty much all you can wear is black.. so I got some blinged out black...

It kind of looks like this but longer and only bling on the shoulders.. Couldn't find the exact shirt on any website!

I went to a baby shower today for Wyatt's cousins wife, Not sure what I am to her but were something.

There were so many kids there I was bummed that I didn't bring Khloe... She stayed home with Wyatt today riding around in her wagon.

Today has felt like a super long day! Now im off to spend some quality time with my hubby!

Thankful

I am not nearly thankful enough for my beautiful life, I take things for granted way too much.

I have a beautiful HEALTHY daughter

I have a great understanding husband that is great at coparenting with me, Ive heard so many girls say that the dads do nothing... and in our household that is not true.

We both have jobs

We are living rent free for about another month

And at this very moment I have this little red headed girl who adores me sitting right next to me.

Life is good.. more like great and I need to think of all the great things instead of what I wish I had..

I think most of us do that though.

Working Mama

 

So I officially am working at Macy's and im in the purse department.. match made in retail heaven! This outfit above is so cute for work and it is very simple which I love. A few cute accents of bling are always great! I am also loving that shirt!

After all the interviews I have done I am pretty happy with where I will be working.

The schedule is super flexible and Im planning on being a stay at home mom most of the time.

But also rocking it at work so I can get some raises and some of the fabulous incentives they give you.

On another note I got to get my nails done today in between interviews... I have not got them done since Khloe has been born so about 15 months!

Today was a great day and Im feeling pretty blessed!

As im sitting here in my sweats and baggy shirt I realized it is 11am and I should be doing something productive with my day.

I had my Interview yesterday ay Macy's and It went good... I nailed it!

This could be my new place of employment, plus I hear the employee discount is pretty sweet!

( this may be an issue, dont tell my husband)

Its like the entrence to heaven... well not really but to retail heaven...

My next interview is tomorrow and it is for Charming Charlies..

Yet another place that could get me into a TON of trouble..

Today is May 1st.. it markes the first day of the best month in the whole year!

May is one of my favorite months... It has Mothers Day, Our anniversary and MY BIRTHDAY!!

Basically all the fun present things happen this month for me, which is pretty amazing!

It will be at the end of this glorious month that we will be back living on our own in our own home! I can NOT wait.
