Smell the roses…

Ok so this is day two of posting the second thing that I love about myself…

2. No matter what happens I can get through it. Im a strong woman!

Manic Monday

Yesterday was an insane day… I went to meet my friend Moriah in Old Town Temecula and as I am driving there the light for low tire pressure comes on, I just keep on driving and get to my parking spot in old town get out and look at my tires and what do you know I have a flat. Not like the air is slowly coming out, It is completely FLAT! I also have Khloe with me. So I call my save the day husband and he comes down and puts the spare on it for me.

Moriah and I meet up and we go get Starbucks with the kids and then I spill my coffee all down the front of me. BLAH

So after we take the car to get the tire fixed they inform us that it can not be fixed and we have to buy a whole new tire! $140.00 later…

While Wyatt waited for the car Moriah and I took the kids to this amazing indoor play area for kids 6 months to 6 years.  PERFECT for Khloe! She played and played, she had so much fun!

And a list of really annoying other things happened to me as well but at least Khloe had a good day and I got to see my friend.. oh and an upgrade on my tanning bed… there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Today will be a better day! Im sure of it…

Smell the Roses

Ok so I have been reading this blog and she does this thing called smell the roses…

Anyways her thing for this week is to write 5 things you love about yourself, This is kinda a hard thing to do and its sad that its so difficult.

SO Im going to write one thing a day, that way it gives me some time to think… so here is number 1

1. The mother I have become, Im becoming more patient and not as high strung about things as I used to be, my car hasn’t been washed in about two months! that’s crazy for me!

So I will post 4 more through out the week. So I challenge you this, what do you love about yourself? ask yourself that question…

Weekend oh weekend where did you go?

This weekend has flown by! We have been so busy…  Friday we went to long beach and got some video stuff for Wyatt to edit, then went to Hemet and my dad watched Khloe while Wyatt and I went to dinner. We went to the Mill it was AMAZING! they have fantastic pizza

Saturday was an easy day, folding laundry and then we went down to Temecula to go shopping for groceries. We met Wyatts parents at the most amazing place ive ever been! HOBBY LOBBY!

I am obsessed with Hobby Lobby… I mean I walked in and I felt like I walked in to heaven! yes its that amazing!

After 2 &1/2 hours there we went shopping and went home!

Sunday well today, we dropped Khloe off at Wyatts parents and we went to Church then Wyatt went to his friend Ryans house for a hockey game on TV. Skyla and I went shopping (usual for us) and Sushi, I lasted exactly a day and a half on my juice fast… I thought I did pretty well!

Im on my mission of working out and getting healthy so I know from this day on I can do it especially after not eating for a day and a half… fingers crossed!

Im officially exhausted! GOOD NIGHT!

Thankful

Life can suck… we all know that but lately Ive been in a weird funk and instead of focusing on all of the things I want or where I want to be I need to go back to the basic’s… being thankful

So here we go, This is what im thankful for:

1. My family, my wonderful husband and beautiful baby

2. A roof over our heads

3. An able and willing to work husband so I can stay home most of the time

4. God, because He has never given me too much and I couldn’t handle it.

5.My past because it made me a strong woman and I know now that I can handle anything that comes my way.

I think we all need to take a moment and remember what were here for and what were thankful for because nothing is ever perfect but life is great.

Date Night

Tonight I surprised Wyatt and asked him out… Something that doesn’t happen often when you have been married for going on three years…

We went to Lucille’s this great BBQ place in Temecula… They have the yummiest pulled pork sandwich! Wyatt got his po boy catfish sandwich… yummm

It was so nice to get out and have a date night just the two of us. Its been raining so it makes it kind of romantic!

Then we rushed home to watch the bachelor… Priorities…

Hope

Hope and Faith have been the things that have been pushing me along lately. There is so many things in my life right now that are not where I want them to be. But I know that God will show me what needs to be done and He will allow me to apply for the right job and for me to get it.

You should always have HOPE

I know that no matter what I will put polish on my nails, makeup on my face and dress as best as possible. And Keep on keepin on because I need to be a good example for Khloe!

It is funny how one little person can give you Hope, Love, and Faith more than ever in your life.

FIT body wrap

Tonight I went to itan to do my freebie for the month which is the FIT Body Wrap. This consists of one hour and a hot body wrap. You put on this painter looking mesh thing and get into a sleeping bag looking thing that gets up to 130 degrees it detoxifies your body and helps you lose inches… You bring a movie and water and your ready to go. At first it was fine and then a half hour later I was sweating so bad! This thing is intense but I would recommend it! My skin feels so good and I could really feel it detoxify and get out all the toxins in your body I feel great!

Friday: Went tanning and got my hair done

Saturday: Went tanning, Went to dinner with our friends Tim & Jenna, Then went to a hockey game

Sunday: Church, Lunch with my dad and then a birthday party

Monday: Went to lunch with my grandpa and then went shopping with my mom in Palm Springs…

Our weekend was very eventful. I loved going to church, I havent been in a while and it just really made me feel great to be there. Especially going with Wyatt that was great it was a time where we both got something out of church and I almost feel closer with him because of that.

The Weekend is HERE!

Once again the weekend is here! I didnt think I would every say this but Im in LOVE with the book... wait for it...  Kris Jenner and all things Kardashian.

I know what your thinking , why would anyone even want to invest in the Kardashian empire... well I kinda like them and Kris Jenner's story is so interesting! I was unsure as to how  I would even get into this book but Ive been up till 1am each morning reading this... Very interesting and I would totally recommend this to anyone! Also Seriously im kidding by Ellen is really funny, I literally laughed out loud! 

Country Girls

Ok so I have lived in a city for the last 5 years or so and it’s a big transition to living in the country as I like to call it. It is so beautiful I cant believe how I wake up every morning and the sun hits the mountains so perfectly… Its gorgeous. I am truly savoring each day I have up here because coming later in the year we are going to be living in a city again and I will hear the sounds of cars instead of just our dogs barking at horses trotting by. Today Khloe and I took a walk, these walks are amazing and really take time out of the day to just realize how wonderful Gods creations are… from the birds to the horses and pigs we have up here.

This is on our property, my brother Sam built the red pole barn for the pigs and goats… The sky was beautiful!

Khloe’s new ride… its amazing, any of you mommies that go hiking or walking with a jogging stroller understand the importance of it!

Khloe was VERY happy for the full 40 minutes we were walking.. She’s such an amazing baby!

Best Friend

There are few people in this world you can fully trust.. My Husband of course I can trust him…My parents.. well sometimes… but there is always that one person who I can fully trust with anything, any horrible secret, any embarrassing story and that’s your best friend… mine is Skyla and today we got to spend some time together.. let me fill you in, I have known this girl since I was 8 years old and she was 6. We have been through so much in these past 17 years. We have been through boyfriends, heartbreaks, highs, lows, funny times, sad times, and incredibly happy times, graduations, my wedding, the birth of Khloe. She is the one person who has stuck by me through everything. She is honestly my sister and the one I have never had. Sure I have had stepsisters but none of them really stuck. No one could be more of a sister or best friend then Skyla.  The only person I would ever give the sacred name of Godmother to my precious daughter. I am so thankful for her and seeing her today really made me think about what my life would be without her and it would be so boring. She has brought so much to my life over these years and im so lucky to have her. A lot of girls these days don’t have a true best friend or a true sister. Girls are so catty and backstabbing and its nice to know that no matter what I have her right by my side running through target knocking things off shelves and eating sushi, not all at the same time.

Oh and Shirley if your reading this, I just made my own fax cover sheet for a job I am applying for.. I could not have done that without all the experience I learned in Laughlin… you always told me I wouldn’t forget what I learned there!!  And I have not had to use a paper cutter here …. YET.. thank the Lord!

2012

Its going to be a big year! My baby turns one in less than 6 weeks! This makes me so sad because it feels like yesterday that I met her for the first time. Princess is the theme of her birthday… shocker right! Anyways 2012 is going to be a great year.. I have decided it is our year… we are back in California where we belong and there are no more excuses. Wyatt has a show in the works and I am working on finding a part time job, getting my fitness goals in check, and just loving every moment of my life. I want to take more time out and focus on what’s important instead of feeling stressed all the time. We got a jogging stroller so Khloe and I have been tearing up the mountains here in Aguanga! Oh and I got a sewing machine so my goal is to make a ton of cool stuff….

Khloe got another tooth so she has been super cranky… but how can you be mad at this face!

Good Morning 2012!

Last night consisted of tequila shots and a fire pit, the only way to bring in the new year if you ask me! Wyatt, Khloe, Kayla, Johnny, Sam, Luke, my Mom and Steve are the people we rang in the new year with and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! We had a great night and we all actually made it till midnight! YAY! So I have a few things I want to do this year… their not resolutions just things I want to do.

1. Get in shape.. everyone always says that I know lol

2. Go to the beach more!

3. No fast food at all… minus starbucks and subway

4. Have more family quality time

5. Enjoy every moment of this life God has given me.. because its fantastic and im really so blessed!

6. Walk every day and make 3 healthy decisions a day.

7. Take more pictures and work on photography because I want to take amazing pictures.

8. Have a healthy and happy year with my handsome husband and precious beautiful daughter.

Hope everyone has a fantastic new year… 2012 is our year…

Oh  and buy a house I want that so bad!
