Spending freeze

Christmas is over and now it's time to stop spending money!!

I spent way too much money lately! 

So for the next two months I'm going on a spending freeze,.... Only buying the necessities and not things like that cute black dress at my work for $10.00. I so want it!! That's the downfall of working in retail!  

What are your resolutions or changes for the upcoming year?? 

2013 Is going to be great! 

The new year is upon us!

Honestly I never stick to new year resolutions.... This year I just want to make some life changes.

1. Go to the gym more. Get fit and make that time for myself without excuses

2. Stress less 

3. Enjoy the little things in life

4. Give people a chance that have hurt me in the past

5. Go on more vacations 

6. Enjoy my mom and have a girls day once a month

7. Book more events

8. Find another winery or hotel to work at

9. Just work ONE job

10. More family time 

This year we made a new tradition of  writing notes on mugs for Christmas morning.it was so fun and cute and its by far my favorite mug. ( it already came with the chalkboard paint) 

Our Christmas was so amazing and I feel so blessed to have the people I have in my life. 

The gift of life

As a mother the recent tragedy has really hit home for me. Our family is praying for all of the

families that have been effected and it breaks my heart.

 

We have to be so careful and watch our back constantly, this is something I didnt have to do as a kid. Poor Khloe is going to grow up with that hanging over her head. It is so sad what this world is coming to.

 

I am so thankful for Khloe and Wyatt. It makes me hug them a little tighter and pray a little harder.

Me and coffee are like bff's

These next two weeks will be madness... I'm working 4 night during the week and then at the winery during the weekend. We have also extended our hours at my retail job so I will be getting home at 11:30 every night then waking up at 6 with Khloe.

 

Anyways enough sob story from me.. I want to talk about the amazing health benefits of coffee!

Dear December

Seriously you are already here?? One of my favorite months of the year! We are doing elf on a shelf for Khloe and I am having so much fun with it already! 

If you have kids or even if you don't elf on a shelf is so fun!

As of lately this shirt just says it all!

Night 2&3 of Khloes bed have gone a little smoother!!

 

The only thing that ever stays constant in life is change

Our household is full of change constantly...

 

Today we are converting Khloe's crib into a toddler bed.. big moment!!

 

She keeps jumping out of her crib and I just know it is time.

 

I have been looking for some new bedding for her since she is getting into her toddler bed and its a big deal. I want her to feel like a big girl.

 

I can not find anything that I am in love with, all of them are so cheap looking unless I want to spend $200.00 like we did on her crib set...

I have also started my" Chanel bag fund" I have wanted a Chanel bag for forever!!! They are so expensive! So a portion out of every wedding I plan is going into my fund. I may not get there for a couple years but I will get there!!

 

Originally I was going to use my last settlement check to buy one but I decided getting into our apartment and buying new furniture was more important.. Damn responsibilities!

 

 

I want a classic black one. Something that will stay classy and timeless. I plan on handing this bag down to Khloe so I have to choose wisely especially since one bag is a down payment on a car!!
