Its been over a month... Really??

So many changes have happened in the last month and a half!

 

We got a puppy and her name is Lola.

 

I just did a big wedding at the winery this weekend and it went amazing.

 

Our house is pretty much done except for a couple little things and the backyard.

26...REALLY???

This month is full of amazing events...

 

1. Mothers day

 

2. My 4 year anniversary to the most amazing man I have ever met!! We went to dinner and had drinks, it was pretty much amazing.

 

 

I used a beautiful mess app on my iphone to concoct this little beauty.

 

He is the love of my life, best friend and the one person I can be my true self with. He is so amazing and I know how lucky I am to have him!

 

3. My 26th birthday. I always have all these ambitions when it comes to my birthday. It is almost like a new years resolution type thing. Every year I set new goals for myself. This year I just want to be happy, feel amazing, healthy and less stressed.

 

I still can not believe im coming up on 26 years on this life. I have so much to show for it. I am so lucky!



SO many new things!

I haven't written in like two weeks! Seriously I made it through some big milestones in my business and personally. I feel so proud to say that the wedding this last weekend went almost flawlessly, and the one flaw that did happen no one knew about it! I am so proud of myself {saying this in a humble way}

 

I believe God gives us all talents. My talent is not limited to planning events and weddings but honestly I love the rush of seeing something you have planned for moths turn out amazing.

 

I also through this have learned a lot about myself. Its good to look and see yourself growing. Every once in a while I surprise myself with how calm and collected I look on the outside and people TRUST me .. Like really TRUST me to get things done and take care of their event.

 

God gave me so much strength through that day when I really was sweating bullets all day!

 

I also learned the best way to cut a fondant cake! woohoo!! Damn those fondant cakes they suck! Her cake was beautiful and I can NOT WAIT to post the video my hubby did! I also got to meet some amazing vendors and I just feel like my career is so new that all I can do is go up from here!

 

My next project is moving into our new home which I hope to buy from my parents in the future so we are treating it as our long term home. Seriously the perfect little home for our family. I will post pictures when we move in and start decorating. I can not wait for all the fun home projects we will be doing!

 

And I am pretty sure I need a pink outside drink cart for our summer parties... Like 100% sure!

Busy Busy

 

 

This is totally me lately!! between working weekends, planning a wedding, selling origami  owl & having a very busy 2 year old ... I am constantly thinking. Some days I want to just turn my brain off!

 

Then I think about life without all those things in it and I would be pretty bored, and lets just face it my shopping addiction would start up again.

 



Too good to be true?

Honestly whenever things are going well I just wait for the other shoe to drop.

Lately things have been going really well and then BAM drama central.

Family drama is the worst but somehow something so small turned into something that everyone was getting upset about and fighting about.

 

Don't you just HATE that!!

 

UGHH

 

But I have learned from this experience and hopefully moving on from it.

 

Family is a really intricate and delicate eco system in life. They are so important but at the same time you have to be so careful with people especially the ones that are in your family. Sometimes I forget that were only Human.

That good vibe feeling

Sometimes you have to go through breakdowns to realize that better things are on your horizon. Kinda like knowing you will be moving into a house in less than 60 days!!!!

 

I am going to have a small office and I have thought of a lot of  color schemes for my office but have come to one conclusion...

 

Leopard & Mint

Mint walls and white furniture with a bit of leopard mixed in will be my office.

 

Did I say we move in less than 60 days!?!?!?! so excited!

 

The browns and the mint really balance each other out so I am excited to see how it all comes together!

 



We bought a Zoo mixed with Dora??

This morning I was cleaning and though hey lets put in "We bought a zoo"  and that quickly turned into Dora. Khloe doesn't follow storylines very well. I cant blame her since she is only two but come on! During this, It made me realize I need some time with people my age.. and a little less with the people that only hit to the middle of my leg.

 

MOVING ON

 

I started reading this AMAZING book this morning while my house was being trashed by a two year old tornado. Some days you just give up and give into their craziness. Today is one of those days! Ok back to this book. It is called Carry on Warrior, I started to read the sample of it on my Ipad and I can not wait to buy it! Its only $11 but I have a serious budget to stick to so I am waiting until I get paid.

I am super stoked to read it fully but BUY this book. It is so touching.

 

I should have read this book last night before I went to work. Honestly I had a hell of a night. People sometimes suck. I learned some big life lessons last night though. This lady was the rudest person EVER! Her husband bought her this travel bag and it was a surprise. She came up to me saying oh I need to get the matching makeup case for this. Well we were out because the bag was on clearance and I even called other stores asking if they had it. She said to me while I was on the phone, cant you just look it up on the computer system. I said no we don't have that capability yet. She replied well you should. Like its my fault. She went on and on and then asked me all these questions WITHOUT even looking at me. I can not believe someone like that. Literally blew my mind! Next time I will flat out tell the person you are being rude. But I met a lady right after that is a great contact for my business and I though God you are really showing me I should go with my passion and not just a paycheck. I have been working about 3 jobs for months now and I am burnt out. I think God was showing me I need to quit my little retail job and move on! I am worth so much more than what I am doing there.

Trust God and He will show you the way... That is what I learned last night.
